Play Air Hockey with the rules at hand
Try Air Hockey at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Score seven goals before the computer. Use the example below to understand a decision. Keep the instructions close while learning this activity. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.
Move your paddle against a computer opponent and score through the opposite goal.
Bring this focus to a round
Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round. Use the example to check your reasoning.
The objective of a round
Score seven goals before the computer. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Keep the controls in easy reach.
Making your moves
- Start.
- Move your mallet within the lower half.
- Strike toward the upper goal.
- Goals reset the puck.
How your actions work
Mouse/touch movement or Left/Right controls. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.
Put the rules into context
An angled hit can bank off a side wall. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Read the matching step again.
One detail worth checking
You cannot move into the computer’s half. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
